A Key to the Trip

My trip report on the Big Bend Saltwater Paddling Trail is scattered among several blog entries and photo albums.  I have decided to pull all these things together on one navigation page so that anyone interested in this trip does not have to hunt for all the information I have presented.

The Big Bend trip is nine days of unsupported wilderness kayaking with significant time spent on the Gulf of Mexico each day.  It is not a beginners trip.  Unless you are very experienced at planning the logistics of such an extended expedition, you need the planning help and on-the-water support of a guide who knows the area.  For more information, check the web and/or buy this book:
