The daily trip reports on the June 2008 Paddle to the Bay are scattered through out this blog site.  Truth is, I was too busy paddling last summer to want to spend too much time inside at my computer creating trip reports!  So, I wrote them up as I had the time and inclination, stretching them out for weeks.  By popular request, I have pulled together all of the daily trip reports with hyperlinks to each from this summary page.  Anyone who wishes to follow the whole trip can do it easily from here.

        The Paddle to the Bay, Washington, D.C. to Lookout Point and the Chesapeake Bay is a trip of about 105 miles done over six days, a trip through American history.  I must say that I enjoyed this adventure as much as any I have taken in recent history. 

        I have mixed feelings about advertising the trip, sponsored partly as a media event by the Anacostia Watershed Society, because participation is strictly limited to about eight paddlers, and I want to go again!  But read on.  You may be able to claim one of the coveted spots on a future Paddle to the Bay.
