I saw dozens of these big pink jellyfish on a recent paddle near Round Island in the Indian River Lagoon. They varied in size from just under twelve inches in diameter to over eighteen inches. They were clear except for a pink ring around the outside edge and a pink center. As you will see in the video, they are quite capable of swimming and adjusting their depth. I don’t know anything more about them. I’m hoping my friend, Kristen Beck, a marine biologist and co-owner with husband Mike of the Florida Outdoor Center will see this and leave some information in the form of a comment below.
